Let’s get this out of the way: I’m terrible at keeping up with this. I want to be better at it, and I’ll always say I will, but let’s face it - I’d rather be drawing.

Whew. Now that we got that out of the way…

Hi there! It’s been over a year since I’ve updated this site, and I have worked on a massive amount of things. Instead of creating a ton of individual blog posts, I thought I would get it all out of the way at once. So buckle up, Buttercup… this may get long.

TWITCH!

Over the past couple of months, I began live-streaming on Twitch. During the day, I show my process as an artist and graphic designer, either with current professional projects, or personal or educational art. At night a few times a week, I stream playing PS5 games. Each night is themed so you know what you’re getting into when you watch.

I’ve been MIA for the last couple of weeks due to some medical downtime, but I will be back to streaming very soon.

LOGOS / BRANDING

I’ve done a ton of branding and logo work over the past year - everything from soccer club crests (Annapolis Blues FC, Lubbock Matadors), charitable foundations (Dallas Sidekicks Foundation) and food trucks (La Chignona Cooks) to educators (Inspire) and business conferences (Bad Ass Business Summit).

ILLUSTRATION

Illustration is what I have a massive amount of fun with. Sometimes it is simple and cute (John Small Mountain’s bison), sometimes wacky and crazy (Game Day Birthday’s beer-guzzling razorback), super rad (Hot Head Skate Wear’s Good Medicine, HopFusion’s Panther City shirt), tough (FWVFC’s Pale Rider, Bad Ass Business Summit’s 2022 logo), distressed (Big D BBQ’s shirt designs) or slick and professional (Mango’s tiled mural).

LAYOUT AND BOOK DESIGN

I had the opportunity to create a book cover design for Donnie Boivin of Success Champions. His new book, F*cked to Focused, is out now on Amazon.

I also did some LP album design for Liquid Sound Company on behalf of Vistari Studios. I took some existing artwork and recolored it, then altered other artwork and did a full layout. It was but challenging and fun.

T-SHIRTS AND MISC.

I’ve knocked out much more over the past year, but I won’t bore you listing the rest with line items. Some highlights of shirt designs though, include The Chat Room’s Good Conversation Isn’t Just for the Living, Fort Worth Vaqueros’ Pale Rider, Muy Frio’s Loterìa-inspired Las Margaritas, and Panther City Hellfire’s Ramones-inspired Panther City Seal.

VIDEO

I had the opportunity to do some hype videos for Annapolis Blues, Lubbock Matadors and Fort Worth Vaqueros. They were extremely fun to put together, and I look forward to making more of these in the future.

Other than that, I’ve just been plugging along. I have more soccer club work in the pipeline, as well as some other big projects. Come hang out on the Twitch stream sometime. We have a ton of fun as I work.
